The first thing I would tell a proprietor is everything they needed to do to repair and make the house show well. You know, it&#8217;s called &#8220;curb appeal&#8221;. In those days some agents would say no to sell an ugly house. Putting effort into a house that I was not able to sell could have an effect on my commission, so many would decide that it&#8217;s just not worth it.</p>
